We can spend years building up our confidence and yet it can be destroyed in just seconds by a change in our circumstances, a thoughtless word or a perceived failure about something we care about.
In this programme, participants will gain valuable insights into the subject and learn useful techniques to raise their self-confidence.
Objectives
To enable participants to:
- understand the blocks to self-confidence
- use five techniques to build confidence
- learn strategies to give themselves self assurance
- use new learned skills at work and in their personal lives
Blocks to Self-Confidence
The first step is to establish what the basic blocks to self-confidence are, concentrating on negative communication from ourselves and from others.
Self-Confidence : Your Rating
Individually, participants, will learn how to determine areas of self-confidence which are valid for them, and to highlight areas of future development.
Building Self-Confidence
Participants learn successful strategies in how to build up confidence by:
- acknowledging strengths
- connecting with positive people
- developing assertiveness
- drawing up a 30 day plan to improve and maintain self-confidence
